Review: Nuxe Rêve de Miel

There are many rave reviews out there in the beauty world on the Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm.  According to the Nuxe website, one is sold every 28 seconds!  My weakness is lip products so when I was in France, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this luxurious lip balm. 

Review & Swatch: Erborian BB Cream Original Formula (Light)

To be honest, I haven't tried many BB creams.  Prior to our trip to France, I was already on the lookout for something that would be perfect for the summer weather- light coverage, semi-matte and most importantly did not oxidize and change colour on me after a few hours.  In my research, I discovered that Erborian BB Cream was a favourite among many French women.  So I decided to give it a shot while on our trip.

Review: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo & A.I.

For the last couple of years, I have been looking for an exfoliator to refine my skin's texture and tone.  The pores on my t-zone are prone to clogging and breakouts.  I've tried many scrubs and other physical exfoliators but never had much luck.  They were usually too coarse or too rough on my sensitive skin. This is the first kind of chemical exfoliator I've tried and so when I had such great results with La Roche-Posay's Effaclar Duo & A.I., I was thrilled.  Please note I bought these products in France.  I have read somewhere that the American and European Effaclar line have different ingredients and most have had more success with the European Effaclar line.

French Pharmacy Skincare- Worth the Hype?

French skincare products are known for their no nonsense, targeted and effective approach.  Being a skincare product junkie, I knew I had to get my hands on some French products on our trip this summer.  Before the trip, I did a little research into the "top pharmacy must haves" so I would know what to focus on when I was finally there.  I discovered that basically everyone had the same things on their list.  The top ten, in no particular order were:
